Field Shelter in Cornwall

Samuel Chocolate and Ronie Milkshake approached us to provide them with a dry shelter for their home in Truro. We were delighted to assist with the project.

On the right you can see ground works beginning in their field
Next right, the first portal frame is bolted down to the concrete base and is braced into position
The next portal follows and is braced by the wall cladding rails
The third portal frame is added and braced
Roof purlins are attached with self-drilling Tek screws
Then the wall sheeting is attached to the side rails with Tek screws
Nextly we added the roof sheeting which is Tek screwed to the roof purlins
Just the doors, front wall cladding and guttering to add now and Ronie and Samuel can move into their new home!

Building Dimensions 4.6M span by 4.2M long. Eaves height 2.4M. Single skinned wall and roof cladding, roof with anticondensation membrane. Custom made stable doors.

Colour: Vandyke Brown

Comment from the customer: “This is a maintenance free building that should last for many years. The non-drip coating
has ensured that is always dry inside. It’s much better quality than a timber field shelter”
