We were asked to provide a building to house a new Tractor. New Tractors are
expensive and the client didn’t want the new one to rust away and suffer the effects
of weather like his old machine. The pictures below show the old building that had
collapsed in the wind and was replaced by an Atlantic Steel Building.
The client wakes to find the old brick stable
block collapsed in the wind. His daughter’s
scooter is underneath the rubble. This
prompts the immediate demolition of the
rest of the dangerous old stable block. The
customer then contacts us for a new
building.
We prepare the concrete base. Then the
first portal frame is erected and moved
into position using a telehandler.
The first portal is bolted in place and
braced.
All the portals are now in place. But the
weather was unkind and the new Tractor
was suffering from being left outside.
Jump forward to the finished building,
7.5m long, 5.2m wide and 3.7M high.
One electric roller door 4.20m wide by
3m High and one side Personal
Access Door. This quality building will
never collapse and unlike timber
buildings, it will never require
expensive and time wasting
preservative treatment and
maintenance.
Comment from the client “Anyone who sees this building can see the superb
quality of it. It will stand forever and yet was an unbelievable price. I will definitely
buy more buildings form Atlantic.“
