Buildings Technical Infomation

Our steel buildings are state of the art designs. Created by engineers, the Capital Steel building system is designed to produce the strongest building at a competitive price. All structural components  and cladding is galvanized for long-life and the cladding finish is guaranteed for up to 30 years depending on location.

Our building systems are Portal Framed, which means they have stanchions and rafters and are designed to be built in bays. Currently we restrict our bay width to 6m to ensure maximum strength of the building. Any length of building is available but our clean span maximum width  is 25 metres.

Our bespoke software designs a steel building structure according to its geographical location; taking into account wind and snow loadings. Thus our buildings will meet BS5950 with Structural Calculations for Building Control. You can be certain then that the product you buy from us will meet the test of time and stand up to the worst of the UK weather.
